The English oak tree is an iconic staple of the countryside, but they all start off as much smaller English oak saplings. The English oak, also known as the common oak or the pedunculate oak, will typically grow by 50cm each year and can grow up to a size of 20-40 metres. The addition of an oak tree to your garden is a long-term investment, and it can be great to track its growth over time.

At Shrubgarden, every one of our saplings is grown in our Northumberland nursery, including our Red Oak Sapling. The English oak sapling also comes in a Shrubgarden gift box, meaning it can be the perfect gift for the green-fingered friend or family member in your life.

Delivery & Returns

We try to dispatch your order the next working day after receiving your order (Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays), but please allow for three working days for dispatch. Shipping is calculated at checkout.

If you wish to return an item purchased from us, you have 28 days in which to return it. Inside the first 14 days, you must contact us to notify us of your return request. Any items returned must be in the original condition you’ve received it, with all packaging intact.
