Returns Policy

If you’ve purchased an item from Northumberland Trees and Hedging but you’ve changed your mind or there’s a problem with your order, please contact us as soon as possible with your order number to request a return. Depending on the reason for your return, there are a few steps you can follow.

Returns Information

Although we take great care to individually check every plant before it is sent out, sometimes these things happen. Therefore, if you have a concern about your plants, please get in touch with us within 7 days so that we can diagnose the issue. Where possible, images should be provided in order for us to diagnose as quickly and accurately as possible. In rare cases, we might ask you to send the tree back to us in secure packaging to help us identify the issue.

If you have contacted us within 7 days of delivery and we have been at fault, we will offer a free replacement plant or a full refund. If we no longer stock your species, we will suggest a suitable alternative. We cannot refund return postage if we did not request the return of the plant or when we were not at fault, nor can we accept liability for any plants damaged during transit.

Cancelling your Order

If you wish to cancel your order, this must be done before dispatch. For smaller orders, this is typically 1-3 business days. For larger orders over 100 units, this can be up to 10 working days. We are happy to cancel your order and give a full refund you get in touch with us within the timeframe and before your order has been dispatched.
