Climbing Plants

At Shrubgarden you can find a range of different climbing plants available, which can add a pop of colour at different heights to your garden. Whilst regular plants may be placed at ground level or in raised beds, climbing plants attach themselves to other objects like walls, supports, pergolas or shrubs; flowering to add a flash of brightness to your green space.

There are two main groups of climbing plants, bines and vines. Bines will twine their steam around an object, whilst vines attach themselves either through thorns, stems, leaves or adhesive pads. The clematis variety is a type of vine, flowering in a range of bright colours.

The clematis Pink Fantasy produces light pink flowers, whilst the clematis Ville de Lyon features bright pink flowers. The clematis Taiga flowers with a mixture of green and purple, whilst the clematis Rouge Cardinal has rouge-coloured flowers, as the name suggests.
